Founded in 1934 the Maddox Ranch is a 200+ acre facility that has proven to be a burner friendly environment. The property offers plenty of trees for shade, grass for frolicking, and an area for parking. Richard and Lynne have hosted similar gatherings in the past and look forward to our return.

Richard has been working for some years to make the Maddox Ranch a therapeutic riding center for mentally and physically challenged children and adults. Lynne works very closely with the Florida Dachshund Rescue Group, placing injured or homeless animals with caring families.

In 2006 the ranch suffered a tremendous fire that completely destroyed Richard and Lynne's home. Happily, nobody was hurt and not a single animal perished. This disaster delayed their goals but not their optimism. We are pleased to annouce that Maddox Ranch has recovered and is working hard to get their goals back on track. As a result of their obvious caring and generous ways, we will be donating a portion of AfterBurn’s proceeds to them to help maintain Maddox Ranch.
